AA Matters & ArchiAfrika
ArchiAfrika is an independent and professional network where dialogue between institutes and individuals on architectural and urbanism developments in Africa is facilitated. ArchiAfrika has gained international recognition for the exchange of knowledge and development of ideas.
Antoni Folkers and Berend van der Lans, directors of African Architecture Matters, co-founded ArchiAfrika in 2001.
ArchiAfrika is now steered by its network members, while African Architecture Matters further promotes ArchiAfrika with co-ordination and management of the global network.
Dialogue as a means for exchange of knowledge lies at the core of activities for both entities.
